Boiled quail eggs are considered a delicacy in Southeast Asia. In China, they are added to soups, hot pots and zongzi (sticky rice dumplings).
Try making a classic Thai street food dish: quail egg wontons. The eggs are carefully wrapped in wonton wrappers, then deep fried until golden. Serve hot with a sweet chilli or vinegar dipping sauce.
